A well-designed game is a guided missile to the motivational heart of the human psyche.

For all the progress and investments made in data acquisition, storage, and access, the impact of these IT investments has fallen short of expectations.

The breadth and depth of technology are improving exponentially and providing a distinct competitive advantage to organizations that can tap into the benefits of this dramatic progress. Companies searching to accelerate growth are working to transform themselves into more digital entities. Key to this transformation is creating an insights-driven culture where data does not reside within a specific department but rather seamlessly travels across all departments and business activities.

Organizations are now able to successfully analyze and act on information because many of the older IT barriers that blocked value to this data no longer exist.
• More intuitive tools have enabled more straightforward access to large data.
• Analytic applications such as Tableau allow for sophisticated crunching of the data by non-analytic workers
• Efficient cloud-based data offerings enable timelier and more accurate data availability

•Data access through mobile devices moves knowledge beyond the office and cube-based employees.

We believe the answer
is through gamification.

The fundamental idea of Branded Aware is to create a fantasy league, similar to those in professional sports, and use company metrics from across the enterprise as the gaming economy. The league would be made up of company employees who would select different departments/areas as their “players” and would compete against other employees to see who knows their company performance best. The game would be available on their mobile device where they can sign up and track their weekly performance similar to other fantasy leagues.
